Our white LTD Hearse had been lovingly restored just before we purchased it in 1997 by the former owners they did this as this was their first hearse that they used in their human Cemetery & Cremation business. When they discovered that it was to be used in a pet funeral business they insured that it was of a very high standard before they sold the vehicle to us. It was reassuring to know that the human side of our industry felt so strongly about our side of the industry. The construction of the hearse begun in Victoria as it was specially constructed by Sage coach builders. Therefore the Hearse is an official 20 ft long Hearse. When the Hearse was restored in 1997 the back doors were not converted to the vertically opening doors of newer model hearses. They kept the original design features with the doors opening horizontally. We are especially proud of owning this original LTD Hearse, so we have decided that when we upgrade our Hearse, we will keep this vehicle. As many people today are interested in the history and craftsmanship of these particular vehicles. It is also a very big compliment that so many human directors come to us to look after their pets. We have had referrals by them to help others also.
We now have a second Hearse, a black Ford Fairlane, it has also been lovingly restored. This hearse was purchased from the oldest funeral directors in Australia, they love pets and are happy to know that their hearse is now retired into the pet industry.
